Cristiano Ronaldo Committed to Al Nassr Amid Transfer Rumors, Says Fabrizio Romano

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a renowned expert on football transfers, has provided the latest updates on the future of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi club Al Nassr.

Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr is set to expire at the end of the current season, and as of January, he has been eligible to negotiate or sign with any other club as a free agent. Despite this, recent reports suggest that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner remains focused on his current team.

Inter Miami and European Clubs Linked, But No Negotiations

Speculation had emerged that Inter Miami, the MLS side featuring Lionel Messi, was interested in signing Ronaldo ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. However, Romano dismissed these rumors, stating that no talks have taken place between the player and the American club.

Additionally, reports had linked Ronaldo with a potential move to Inter Milan and other top European clubs. But according to Romano, Ronaldo has shown no interest in entering negotiations with any other team since becoming a free agent in January.

Ronaldo’s Priority: Extending with Al Nassr

Romano clarified that Ronaldo has completely ruled out discussions about joining another club for the Club World Cup. Instead, the 39-year-old forward is fully committed to Al Nassr, with the Saudi club actively working on renewing his contract.

“Al Nassr’s plan is to build a strong team around Ronaldo,” Romano added, emphasizing that the veteran striker remains central to the club’s project.

As things stand, Ronaldo’s immediate future appears to be in Saudi Arabia, with a contract extension likely in the works. Fans will be watching closely to see if the legendary forward continues his journey with Al Nassr or if any late surprises emerge in the coming months.
