Inter Milan Stuns Barcelona in Thrilling 4-3 Comeback to Reach Champions League Final

In a match filled with drama, tension, and late-game heroics, Inter Milan secured their place in the UEFA Champions League final after an unforgettable 4-3 extra-time victory over Barcelona at the San Siro. The semifinal second leg lived up to its high expectations, delivering a rollercoaster of emotions as Inter snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Inter Milan started strong, with Lautaro Martínez opening the scoring in the 21st minute before Hakan Çalhanoğlu doubled the lead from the penalty spot just before halftime (45’). The hosts seemed in control, but Barcelona had other plans.

The second half saw an incredible resurgence from the Catalan giants. Eric García (54’), Dani Olmo (60’), and Raphinha (88’) turned the game on its head, putting Barcelona ahead 3-2 and on the verge of the final. With just minutes left, it looked like Inter’s dream was over.

But Inter refused to surrender. Veteran defender Francesco Acerbi delivered a clutch equalizer in the 93rd minute, forcing extra time. Then, in the 99th minute, substitute Davide Frattesi became the hero, firing home the decisive goal to seal a historic 4-3 victory.

Inter Milan will now face the winner of Wednesday’s clash between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. If this semifinal was any indication, football fans are in for another spectacular showdown.

San Siro erupted in celebration as Inter completed one of the most dramatic comebacks in recent Champions League history. The final promises to be unmissable.
