Al-Nassr’s big clash with Al-Wasl in the AFC Champions League Elite turned out to be a one-sided affair, with the Knights of Najd securing a thumping 4-0 victory at Al-Awwal Park. Ali Al-Hassan got things rolling with the opening stunner in the 25th minute. Then, Al-Wasl’s Salem Al-Azizi gave away a penalty for a handball, and who else but Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to slot it home in the 44th minute, doubling the lead for the hosts.

The Portuguese superstar wasn’t done yet! In the 78th minute, he headed in another goal, this time set up beautifully by Sadio Mané with a pinpoint cross. And just when it seemed like the game couldn’t get any better for Al-Nassr, Mohammed Al-Fatil added the fourth goal in the 88th minute, finishing off a cross from Marcelo Brozovic after a corner.

Over at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Al Ahli Saudi FC put on a strong display to end Al Sadd’s unbeaten run in the Group Stage with a 3-1 win. Despite Al Sadd’s spirited efforts, Al Ahli proved too strong, securing a well-deserved victory.
