In the 21st round of the Roshn Saudi League, both Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisiyah claimed important victories on Friday evening, solidifying their positions in the league standings.
Al-Ahli delivered a strong performance, defeating Damak 2-0. Ivan Toney opened the scoring in the 4th minute, capitalizing on a goalkeeping error. Wenderson Galeno sealed the win with a second goal in stoppage time (90+5), ensuring Al-Ahli’s dominance throughout the match. Despite Damak’s efforts, including a disallowed goal by Habib Diallo after a VAR review, Al-Ahli maintained control and secured three valuable points.
Meanwhile, Al-Qadisiyah also triumphed with a 2-0 victory over Al-Akhdoud. Julian Quiñones broke the deadlock with a penalty in the 31st minute, followed by Turki Al-Ammar’s goal in the 51st minute. This win elevated Al-Qadisiyah to 47 points, keeping them in third place, while Al-Akhdoud remained at 16 points, stuck in 16th position.
