Barcelona Under Hansi Flick Shatters La Liga Scoring Record

Barcelona continues to dominate under Hansi Flick, setting a historic milestone in Spanish football. After a commanding victory over Girona, the Blaugrana have now scored 139 goals in just 45 matches across all competitions, the highest tally ever recorded in La Liga history at this stage of the season.

Despite fielding a rotated squad with an eye on their upcoming Copa del Rey semifinal against Atlético Madrid, Barcelona showcased their relentless attacking prowess. An early own goal by Girona’s Krejci gave them the lead, but after a brief resurgence from the visitors, Robert Lewandowski’s brace and a late strike from Ferran Torres sealed a convincing win.

Flick praised his team’s mentality, stating, “The players always want more. The attitude and defensive work were excellent, and the substitutions made a big impact.”

With an astonishing average of over three goals per game, Barcelona is on pace to surpass their own all-time record of 190 goals in a single season, set in 2011-12. If they advance in the Champions League and Copa del Rey, this relentless squad could rewrite history before the campaign ends.

As Flick’s machine keeps rolling, rivals are left searching for answers against a Barcelona side that shows no signs of slowing down.
