Saudi Arabia to Host Final Stages of 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Elite

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced on Tuesday that Jeddah will host the final stages of the 2024-2025 AFC Elite Champions League. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) had previously granted Saudi Arabia the rights to host the tournament’s final rounds for both the current and upcoming seasons. The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will be played as single-leg matches.

The matches will take place at two stadiums in Jeddah: King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium. The final stages of the tournament will run from April 25 to May 3, 2025, starting from the quarter-finals.

Saudi Arabia will be well-represented in the knockout stages, with Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr securing their spots in the Round of 16 after finishing in the top three of the West Group. Notably, Al-Ahli is the representative club from Jeddah, adding local significance to the event.
