Saudi media reports indicate that Al-Hilal is close to signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli, who is currently on loan to Turkish club Galatasaray. The move aims to strengthen the team ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Al-Hilal is reportedly prepared to meet Osimhen’s €130 million release clause, with the player expressing interest in a new challenge outside Italy.
Osimhen’s loan to Galatasaray ends this season, and Napoli has rejected attempts by the Turkish club to retain him, increasing the likelihood of his transfer to Al-Hilal. The Saudi club is bolstering its attack for the Club World Cup, set to take place in the USA from June 15 to July 13, 2025.
