Al Hilal Agrees to Sell Musab Al-Juwair to Al-Qadsiah in Record-Breaking Transfer
Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal has reached a full agreement with Al-Qadsiah for the transfer of talented midfielder Musab Al-Juwair, with only the final signing of the contracts remaining. The move comes as Al-Juwair expressed a desire for more consistent playing time, prompting him to seek a new challenge.
According to sources close to the deal, both clubs have finalized all financial and contractual terms. Sports journalist Hamad Al-Suwaileh confirmed that Al Hilal approved the sale to honor the player’s request for a fresh opportunity where he could feature more prominently on the pitch.
Remarkably, this transfer is reportedly the most lucrative sale of a Saudi player in Al Hilal’s history, highlighting the rising value and reputation of Al-Juwair in the domestic football market.
The 20-year-old, who had been under contract with Al Hilal until the summer of 2026, spent the previous season on loan at Al-Shabab. His performances were impressive, earning him the “Best Promising Player” award in the Roshn Saudi League—a recognition that significantly boosted his market value and drew interest from multiple clubs.
Al-Juwair’s primary motivation for the move was the pursuit of regular first-team action, something that proved challenging at Al Hilal given the team’s star-studded lineup.
