Al Nassr had chances to extend their advantage earlier, with Cristiano Ronaldo creating an opportunity for Felix, but the home side’s defence held firm.
The second half was a tense affair as Al Hazm sought an equalizer, but Al Nassr’s defence, led by Aymeric Laporte, remained resolute. The victory was finally sealed by Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo. The legendary forward netted in the 88th minute to double the lead and put the result beyond doubt, securing all three points for Jorge Jesus’ side.
