Brazil Demolishes South Korea 5-0 in Seoul Friendly

SEOUL, South Korea — Brazil delivered a dominant performance in an international friendly on Friday, thrashing South Korea 5-0 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The five-time world champions were in clinical form, with young forward Estêvão and Real Madrid star Rodrygo each netting a brace.

Brazil took the lead early through the talented Estêvão in the 13th minute. Rodrygo then doubled the advantage just before halftime with a magnificent curled effort, finishing off a slick team move.

The floodgates truly opened right after the break. Estêvão capitalized on a defensive error in the 47th minute for his second, and a few minutes later, Rodrygo swiftly followed suit to make it 4-0. Vinícius Júnior completed the rout in the 77th minute, sealing an emphatic victory for the Seleção.

Despite having their captain Son Heung-min, South Korea struggled to cope with Brazil’s speed and individual brilliance, failing to register a meaningful attack against the disciplined Brazilian defense. The result marks a comprehensive win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they continue their preparations.
