Ousmane Dembélé, the French star forward for Paris Saint-Germain, has been awarded the 2025 Ballon d’Or in a ceremony organized by France Football magazine in collaboration with UEFA.
This historic achievement follows a phenomenal season for Dembélé, who was instrumental in leading PSG to their first-ever Champions League title, in addition to winning the Ligue 1 trophy. This is the first Ballon d’Or of his career and the first for a French player since Karim Benzema’s win in 2022. Dembélé received the prestigious award from Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.

Spain’s Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) was named runner-up, while Portugal’s Vitinha (PSG) finished third. Egyptian star Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) came in fourth place, followed by Brazil’s Raphinha (Barcelona) in fifth.
