The Leader Triumphs in a Night of Errors… Doumbia and Leonardo Make the Difference

Al-Hilal Dominates Al-Ittihad with 2-0 Victory

Al-Hilal asserted their dominance over the ” Classico,” securing a vital 2-0 victory against rivals Al-Ittihad in a fiery summit hosted at Alinma Stadium on Friday evening, part of the sixth round of the Roshn Saudi League.
The opening goal for “The Leader” came following a fatal error from Al-Ittihad defender Mamadou Doumbia, who mistakenly turned a cross from Portugal’s Ruben Neves into his own net in the 40th minute.

Brazilian forward Marcos Leonardo confirmed Al-Hilal’s superiority with a second goal in the 57th minute, effectively extinguishing the home side’s hopes of a comeback.

With this win, Al-Hilal raised their tally to 14 points, climbing to third place. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad’s points total froze at 10, dropping them to seventh place, amidst clear disappointment in the stands of “The Brigadier,” who watched their team fall to its second defeat this season.
